Sourcing raw materials in the global markets provides your company with a competitive advantage by allowing you to tap resources unavailable in your domestic market, develop alternate supplier/vendor sources and increase your supply capacity. However, the process can be expensive and time consuming because of the need to find qualified suppliers, comply with import/export regulations across the world, complicated international trade procedures, and differences in business practices across cultures.
Our company simplifies the process for you.
We identify and qualify potential suppliers to make sure they have possesion and title of goods and have the capacity to deliver good quality products at a reasonable price.
Develop, negotiate and execute agreements for recommended sources of supply.
Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for saving costs and quality products.
ICG staff are specialists in global sourcing. We are sales, marketing, sourcing and international trade specialists with a global network of contacts ready to help you buy your raw materials. With offices in Colombia and the U.S. and associates in Australia, Europe, Russia, India, China, and Latin America, we have access to suppliers all over the world.
We use our wide range of international contacts to find quality bulk commodities such as sugar from Brazil, Coal from Colombia, Fuel oils and Iron ores. We manage trade deals every day and have ample experience with import/export regulations, trade procedures and negotiations across culture.
We are buyer and sellers of commodities using international trade procedures designed by recognized international trade negotiator David Papa, author of International Trade and the Successful Intermediary and CEO of FTN Exporting. Our principals are also trade agents for FTN Exporting.
We use only the safest procedures to make our trade negotiations successful and profitable. For our trade rules we always apply UCP 600 Banking Rules, Incoterms 2000 Delivery rules, URC 522 Collection Rules and URPIB Intermediary protocol.
Our trade procedures are as follows:
If you're a End Buyer that will be taking possesion of goods, a Buyer Representative or Intermediary whose commission is protected by the buyer, please send us a Request for Quote (RFQ) or click here and follow the form to send us a RFQ for our review. We will test on merit and reply with the appropriate follow up procedures and applications.
If you're a Facilitator, please indicate clearly your position in the RFQ. Your commission will be protected by us. To that effect, we will sign first an Intermediary Protection Guarantee (IPG), then you will disclose your end buyer, so that we can qualify him/her and proceed with the negotiations. We will email you a copy of the IPG and URPIB Intermediary Protocol after receiving RFQ. All the negotiations will be conducted through you and you will be provided access to our Representatives restricted area.
Please note that we do not use LOI, BCL, ICPO, POP, or NCNDA.
